The Planetary Research Cooperative offers all its services to the planetary science community for free, but these services have a price. We rely on donations from individuals, contributions from research grants, and contributions from institutions to pay these costs.

The internal costs of the association are separated into two categories. First, there are costs for running the association’s internet services, which include email accounts and hosting of our Peertube, Indico, Mattermost, and Peertube servers. Together, these come to about 300 € per year. Secondly, there are costs for running the journal Planetary Research. This will eventually cost us about 30,000 € per year.

It is our objective to pay all journal costs using contributions from research grants and subsidies from planetary science institutions. The cost of running the association will be funded entirely by individual donations.
